This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The rotating assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps.
This equipment operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a NEMA 254 T-frame and operates on 230-460V/60/3PH power. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This pump meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards, complies with MG1-12.55 specifications, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI value of 0.92 and is configured for a 40°C ambient environment.
