This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. It includes a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The pump is equipped with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps. This specific configuration does not include a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is configured with a NEMA 184 T frame motor for 60Hz power supply. The unit is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The bearing frame features sealed-for-life ball bearings with a minimum L10 life rating of 60,000 hours. This model has a PEI of 0.94.
