This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
This pump is configured with a 10 HP, 1150 RPM TEFC motor manufactured by Baldor. The motor features a JM frame style with feet and operates on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The system utilizes an across the line starting option and is rated for a 40 °C ambient operating environment.
