This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 6-1/4" bronze impeller. It includes a bronze wear ring and a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve that utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps for filter installation and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration allows for self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a JM frame style with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and features a TEFC enclosure with a drip cover. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power, with across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature and carries a PEI value of 0.87.
