This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections, and the casing includes an integral drain port.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP, 1750 RPM, TEFC motor in a 286 frame. It operates on 380V/60Hz/3PH power and uses an across-the-line starting configuration. The motor is a WEG premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base that incorporates a drip pan and a Woods coupler with a guard. This pump complies with EISA requirements and has a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and an HI energy rating of 7, with operation specified for 40°C ambient conditions.
