This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate maintenance and monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 184 T-frame. The electrical configuration requires 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power and uses across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This pump configuration maintains a 40°C ambient rating and has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
