This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. It includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with a bronze wear ring. The assembly uses a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are standard at the suction and discharge ports.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 324 T-frame. It utilizes 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting. The motor meets Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with an OSHA-compliant guard. The bearing frame features greasable bearings, and the unit maintains a DOE PEI of 0.93.
