This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is configured with a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit is built with a dry shaft design and operates at temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 326T NEMA frame. Electrical specifications include 230-460/60/3PH at a 40°C ambient temperature. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and connects to the pump via a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and utilizes greasable bearings. This equipment meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
