This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft, which is protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. Engineered for performance at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI, the pump includes a mechanical seal comprised of ceramic seat halves and EPT rubber components. This construction allows for servicing the mechanical seal without disturbing the system piping.
The motor operates at 125 HP, utilizes a premium efficiency TEFC enclosure, maintains a speed of 1750 RPM, incorporates Aegis grounding, and accepts a 380-460V / 3PH power supply. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
