This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump is configured without a wear ring and provides pressure tappings for both suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 125 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is NEMA frame 444T and is configured for 460/60/3 power. Starting is set for across the line operation. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes an AEGIS SGR with an insulated bearing on the non-drive end. The pump is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and has a DOE PEI of 0.93.
