This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design to prevent contact with circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across-the-line starting and CCW rotation. The assembly includes greasable bearings, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan. This unit meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI value of 0.85.
