This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The assembly utilizes a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and supports a flush seal line for maintenance.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in an ODP enclosure. The unit utilizes a NEMA 215 T-frame motor and is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a Woods coupler. This configuration provides a DOE PEI value of 0.94. Across the line starting is standard for this unit.
