This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes integrated pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP, 230-460/60/3 Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. The motor is configured in a NEMA 213 T-frame. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures.
