This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a Tungsten Carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for operation in clean water temperatures up to 300 °F. A bronze wear ring is also included to support hydraulic performance.
The pump is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 254 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM and requires a power supply of 230-460/60/3 PH. The motor features premium efficiency, meeting MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is provided with a Woods coupler and an OSHA. This configuration has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
