This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact with circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing operation in clean water up to 300°F. The unit incorporates a rear pullout design for servicing and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60/3PH with across-the-line starting and a 40°C ambient rating. The motor is built to a NEMA 286 JM frame with feet and features premium efficiency in accordance with MG1-12.55 standards, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit has a PEI of 0.92.
