This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 8" suction and 6" discharge ports. It includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F operation. The unit is configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges and does not include a wear ring. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with the pumped fluid and provides gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1450 RPM and is driven by a 22 kw Marathon motor with an IE3 efficiency rating. The motor is housed in a TEFC (IP55) enclosure on a 180L B3 foot-mounted frame, utilizing Class F insulation and a Class B rise. Power requirements are 415V/50Hz/3PH with Wye Delta starting and a 1.0 service factor at a 50°C ambient temperature. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor features terminal strips for electrical connection.
