This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal includes a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F for clean water applications.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The system operates at a 40°C ambient temperature and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a PEI of 0.91.
