This close-coupled end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing housing a bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. Engineered with a dry shaft design, the assembly provides an operating pressure of 125 PSI without a wear ring. A mechanical seal maintains fluid containment, comprising a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components, while integrated flush seal line taps accommodate filtration to protect the seal from non-condensable particles. The pump construction incorporates suction and discharge pressure tappings as a standard utility.
Powered by a 30 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, the assembly incorporates Aegis shaft grounding and draws from 380-460V 3PH power. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
