This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge ports using ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents the pump shaft from contacting the system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit is powered by a 10 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor, configured for 380V/60Hz/3PH power. The motor operates at 1750 RPM and features a TEFC enclosure in a 215 JM frame style with feet. The system uses across-the-line starting and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The pump has a PEI of 0.9. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration promotes self-venting.
