This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 213T frame with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 200V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and supports across the line starting. The premium efficiency motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This pump utilizes permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life bearings and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.87.
