This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The pump design includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that prevents fluid contact with the pump shaft. It uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump assembly is constructed without a wear ring and incorporates a rear pullout design with a top center line discharge. Flush seal line taps are included to allow for the installation of an optional filter.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a JM frame style with feet and operates on 230-460/60/3PH power. The motor is NEMA standard and features AEGIS shaft grounding. Starting is configured for across the line operation. The motor meets premium efficiency requirements according to MG1-12.55.
