This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel (NSF61) impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The design incorporates pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as a dry shaft configuration that prevents fluid contact with the pump shaft.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 254T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. Mounting is provided by a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard guard. This equipment has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
