This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, both with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and includes a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter and a bronze wear ring. The rotating assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are included on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a NEMA 213T frame and operating at 1750 RPM. Electrical input is 230-460V/60/3PH. This unit features premium efficiency motor construction meeting MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The pump has a PEI value of 0.88 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
