This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a stainless steel impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout configuration allows for service without disturbing piping, and the top center line discharge assists with self-venting.
This unit is configured with a 10 HP Baldor motor in a 215 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 3450 RPM using a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is rated for premium efficiency, meets MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly has a PEI value of 0.83 and is designed for a 40°C ambient temperature with a 250°F fluid temperature limit.
