This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with an 11-1/4" nominal diameter. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes gauge ports at both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP motor in a NEMA 213 frame. The motor is a TEFC Baldor Super E, EISA compliant, meeting MG1-12.55 standards and equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding. The power supply requirement is 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH, configured for across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The system is rated for an ambient temperature of 40 °C.
