This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The construction includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. It also includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design for maintenance access. The top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting and reduces piping strain.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, 230-460/60/3PH power supply, and across-the-line starting. The pump uses a 215 JM frame style with feet and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This model carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
