This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter. It includes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The pump uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Suction and discharge connections are 3" and 2-1/2" respectively, with ANSI Class 125 flanges. This configuration includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design with a top centerline discharge.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with a 215 JM motor frame with feet and utilizes across-the-line starting. The electrical requirements are 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power at a 40 °C ambient temperature. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA standard efficiency requirements. The pump conforms to MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI value of 0.86.
