This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel (NSF61) impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps, integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design for servicing.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor features a JM frame style with feet and a 256 frame, configured for 230-460/60/3 power. This pump meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.87. It uses an across-the-line starting option and features a top center line discharge design.
