This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve using a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and provides a flush seal line for maintenance.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 10 HP, 230-460/60/3 PH TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 215 T frame. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods standard coupler and is equipped with greasable bearings for the bearing frame. The pump assembly maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
