This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump is configured with a bronze wear ring, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping, and the top centerline discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes a 256 JM motor frame style with feet. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and provides premium efficiency in accordance with MG1-12.55. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
