This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, accommodating fluid temperatures up to 250 °F.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor ODP motor on a 254 NEMA T-frame. The pump connects to the motor using a Woods coupler, which is enclosed by a standard coupler guard. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3, configured for across-the-line starting. This pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding, meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and has a PEI of 0.91.
