This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a bronze wear ring and a replaceable slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to protect the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. It is configured with a 284 JM motor frame style with feet and uses an across-the-line starting option. The electrical power supply is 230-460/60/3PH, suitable for 40°C ambient conditions. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.97 and is configured for CCW rotation.
