This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The unit uses a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring purposes.
This pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a 213 NEMA T-frame. It operates on a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor. The system maintains a 40°C ambient rating and holds a DOE PEI of 0.96.
