This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pull-out design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
This pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 184 JM frame with feet. The system operates at 3450 RPM on a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor features an ODP enclosure with a drip cover and is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures. This model meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Starting is achieved through an across-the-line configuration with CCW rotation. The unit has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
