This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump includes ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, while flush seal line taps allow for filter installation. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping.
This pump uses a 1 HP Baldor motor in a 143 JM frame with feet. The motor is a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM on 230-460V/60/3PH power. It meets premium efficiency requirements under NEMA MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 250°F maximum fluid temperature, 40°C ambient, and utilizes CCW rotation. The unit has a PEI of 0.83 and is configured for across the line starting.
