This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The shaft and shaft sleeve are constructed of stainless steel, utilizing a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump casing includes integral mounting feet, and pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured with a NEMA 254 T-frame and requires a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, featuring a Woods coupler. This equipment has a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and uses across-the-line starting.
