This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. It is equipped with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. Additional features include pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, flush seal line taps, and a rear pullout design that allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump is powered by a 20 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3 power supply and mounts on a 256 JM frame with feet. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit operates at a maximum temperature of 250°F and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9. This configuration utilizes across the line starting and standard counter-clockwise rotation.
