This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal uses a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft during operation.
This pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 213T frame, operating at 1750 RPM. The power configuration is 200V, 60Hz, 3PH. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The system provides a PEI value of 0.92.
