This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover and a 7-1/4" stainless steel impeller. The unit uses a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design includes flush seal line taps for filter installation, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout configuration that allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping. The top center line discharge design assists with self-venting.
This pump is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 145 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230/460V, 3PH power supply using across-the-line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is configured for 40 °C ambient temperatures, NEMA standards, and CCW rotation. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.78.
