This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components. This pump is rated for temperatures up to 250°F in clean water applications. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disrupting system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts. Flush seal line taps are included to accommodate the installation of filters.
The pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor on a 213 JM motor frame with feet. It operates on 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The assembly provides counter-clockwise rotation and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.84.
