This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing that includes a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for clean water at temperatures up to 300°F. The assembly utilizes a rear pullout design for servicing and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is mounted on a 324 JM frame style with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, including MG1-12.55 compliance and integrated AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit functions in a 40°C ambient temperature environment and features a counter-clockwise rotation. The pump has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.93.
