This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 10" nominal impeller housed within a cast iron casing and is equipped with a bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Additional internal components include a slip-on shaft sleeve, a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact, flush seal line taps, and suction and discharge pressure tappings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and no drip cover. It is configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is installed on a 184 JM frame with feet and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. This unit meets NEMA standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor complies with premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94 and utilizes CCW rotation.
