This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge ports utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It incorporates a 7-1/4" diameter bronze impeller and a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. Flush seal line taps are included to allow for the installation of a filter, and pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
This unit is powered by a 1 HP, 1150 RPM Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor is built on a 145 JM frame with feet and operates at a 40°C ambient temperature. This assembly meets NEMA standards, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and conforms to premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55. The rotation is counter-clockwise.
