This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to maintain a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The equipment has a PEI value of 0.88 and utilizes sealed-for-life ball bearings within the bearing housing.
