This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and provides pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. The pump bearing housing utilizes sealed-for-life ball bearings.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured in a 182 T frame and operates on 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across the line starting. This unit includes a premium efficiency motor meeting MG1-12.55 standards and is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler guard. The pump is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.85 and complies with NEMA standards for operation in ambient temperatures up to 40 °C.
