This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with an 8" suction and 6" discharge, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is equipped with an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The mechanical seal assembly features a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F in clean water applications. This unit provides a rear pullout design, top center line discharge, and flush seal line taps, with pressure tappings included on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is powered by a 40 HP WEG motor, configured for 1750 RPM operation. The motor features a TEFC enclosure and is rated for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with an across the line starting configuration. The motor is built in a 324 JM frame style with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and operates with a CCW rotation. The pump maintains a Pump Efficiency Index (PEI) of 0.92.
