This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 4" suction, and a 3" discharge. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It includes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve, configured with a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 300°F clean water. The pump also features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184 T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH with Across the Line starting. The assembly includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The motor and pump are mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This unit is rated for 40°C ambient operation and has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
