This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is configured without a wear ring and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring system performance.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is built on a 326T NEMA motor frame and is configured for 380V/3PH/60Hz power supply using an across-the-line starting method. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This model features greasable bearings, AEGIS shaft grounding, and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
