This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and is housed in a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and features flush seal line taps to allow for filter installation. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections, and the unit utilizes a rear pullout design with a top center line discharge.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with an 184 JM motor frame style with feet and supports a power supply of 230-460V/60/3PH. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standard MG1-12.55. The ambient temperature rating is 40 °C, and the assembly has a DOE PEI rating of 0.84. The starting configuration is across the line.
