This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed from NSF61 stainless steel, a cast iron casing and cover, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a rear pullout configuration with a top center line discharge and dry shaft technology. It is equipped with a mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are included for filter installation, and the unit provides pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 145 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power. The motor meets NEMA standard efficiency requirements with premium efficiency per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the system is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. The pump is configured for counter-clockwise rotation and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.83.
